Before
This window frame was severely damaged by rot. We had to cut all the rotten timber away. This involved removing the bottom rail of the window sash, part of the window sill inside, and part of the sill on the outside. Because the outside sill profile is no longer available, we had to make a new section to match the existing. What started out as a simple repair ended up being more major than our client first realised.
After
The finished product after priming, and ready for new paint. The new timber was matched to the existing, sanded and primed. A good result in the end, and a very happy client.
